A long-term plan to improve the facilities at Rothy Rovers’ ground in the heart of Rothenorman has taken a step forward today with the installation of specially designed seating for fans.
Constructed using containers, the two units were delivered by road and installed by crane at the south side of the stadium.
Chairman Brian Cormack said: “We would like to express our gratitude to both Barry Booth, Managing Director of Intellicore Ltd, and David Duncan, Managing Director of Harper UK who, along with the Scotland Gordonstown Windfarm Grant, have provided tremendous support to the project and to Colin Lawson Transport Ltd and JK Crane Hire Aberdeen hire cranes to help them.
“We are thrilled that both are on board as major sponsors of the club, as we continue to build for our future in junior football.
“We are excited to announce that our North Regional Cup semi-final against Superleague side Montrose Roselea JFC on March 25th will be the official opening day.
