Trump supporters are pushing for a “mag moat” around Mar-a-Lago to prevent the former president’s arrest as they demand Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis defy New York authorities and refuse to extradite Trump.

The former president had claimed on his platform, Truth Social, that he was likely to be arrested on Tuesday on criminal charges related to payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

He even urged his supporters to “protest, protest, protest” as he raged online about the legal issue, causing many to show up at his Florida home with streamers, banners, and even their own boats.

Now, some MAGA governors are demanding that DeSantis refuse to turn Trump over to the ‘Soros DA’ so the Florida government can conduct its own investigation — some even say the governor should call in the Florida National Guard to protect Trump.

But so far, DeSantis has remained quiet about the possible arrest, even as other Republicans line up to condemn the potential indictment as an “abuse of power.”

Those calling for action include political commentator Mike Cernovich and radio host Stu Peters.

Cernovich, for his part, demanded that DeSantis refuse to extradite the former president, even providing a statement for the Florida governor to use.

“I will not turn over a presidential candidate to a Soros DA that allows violent criminals to roam freely until there is an appropriate legal review under Florida law,” he said. “If the delivery is lawful, the delivery may take place, but not one day earlier.”
