Ryan Roverto, 34, was confronted by his wife on March 8 after she discovered the camera in the guest bathroom of their home, according to the Redding Police Department.

His wife called the police over concerns he had recorded their young children using the bathroom.
Police obtained a search warrant for the devices and investigators conducted a preliminary forensic analysis in which more than 900 images of child pornography and multiple bathroom camera video clips were found.
Police said the videos showed children and adults using the bathroom who apparently were unaware that they had been recorded.
An arrest warrant was obtained on March 9 and police arrested Rovito during a traffic stop.
Raveto was charged with possession of child pornography and the secret recording of an identifiable person who had been stripped naked.
He has been booked into the Shasta County Jail.
