The Kentucky Kernel, the student-run newspaper for University of Kentuckyissued a statement condemning the Arkansas employee’s actions.
“The Kentucky Kernell is appalled by the actions of the Arkansas men’s basketball program,” the newspaper said on Twitter. “[Jack Weaver] It always embodies professionalism on the job and no journalist, especially a student journalist, should not be subjected to violence simply for doing their job.”
It was a frustrating loss for the Razorbacks, as Musselman needed to be restrained by his assistant several times during the game.
