The Spring Open Day of the Inverurie & Alford branch of Cats Protection at Kemnay Village Hall on Saturday brought visitors from far and near.

It was a special day for longtime volunteer Leslie Niven from Oldmeldrum.

She’s been serving cat protection for over 30 years, and she’s finally becoming the “Queen of Tombola.”

Saturday also happens to be her 80th birthday, and Cats Protection star Lindsey Fraser baked an amazing cake.
